Privacy
This page explains how personal data is processed when you visit the website or contact Row Solutions.
1. Controller
Row Solutions is a commercial collaboration and a trading name, but is not a separate legal entity.
The controller for personal data collected through this website is:
Marius Ottesen ConsultingOrganisation number: 937 102 801Email: marius.ottesen.76@gmail.com
2. Personal data we process
We only process personal data that is actually collected through the website or in further correspondence about an enquiry.
When you submit the contact form, we process:
- Name (required)
- Company (required)
- Email (required)
- Phone (optional, if you fill in the field)
- The message in the field “What would you like to improve?” (required)
If the conversation continues by email, we also process contact details and the content of that further correspondence.
The hosting provider may process necessary technical data related to operations and security, such as time, requested URL and browser information. We do not store form submissions in a separate database on the website.
3. Purposes and legal bases
The data is used to:
- respond to enquiries
- follow up possible collaboration or client assignments
- administer further dialogue
- maintain secure and stable operation of the website
Where processing is necessary to take steps prior to entering into a contract, or to perform a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Other follow-up of relevant enquiries, and technical logs for operations and security, are based on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). The legitimate interest is to respond to enquiries to the business and to keep the website secure and stable.
We do not use consent as the legal basis for the contact form or for the strictly necessary language cookie. The website has no newsletter, profiling or marketing based on personal data from visits or the form.
4. Who the data is shared with
The data is not sold, and it is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. The following providers process data on our behalf in order to deliver the website and the contact form:
- Vercel Inc. hosts and delivers the website, and may process technical request data necessary for operations and security.
- Resend sends email from the contact form to the controller. The visitor’s email address is set as the reply-to address so we can reply directly.
People behind Row Solutions who follow up the individual enquiry may access the data to the extent necessary to respond to you.
5. Processing outside the EEA
Vercel and Resend are companies in the United States. Personal data from the website and the contact form may therefore be processed outside the EEA.
The transfer takes place in accordance with the data processing terms published by the providers, which according to their documentation include the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention and deletion
Ordinary enquiries that do not lead to a client or collaboration relationship are normally deleted no later than 12 months after the dialogue has ended. Data related to contracts or client relationships may be kept longer where this is necessary to perform the contract or to meet legal obligations.
Technical logs held by the hosting provider are retained for the limited period required by that provider’s operations. We have not set a separate, documented retention period for such logs beyond that.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access personal data we process about you
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
- erasure where the rules give you that right
- restriction of processing
- object to processing based on legitimate interests
- data portability where this applies
- lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority
Privacy enquiries can be sent through the contact form, or to the email address stated above when it is available. Datatilsynet is the supervisory authority in Norway.
8. Automated decisions
We do not use personal data from the website for automated decisions or profiling that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects.
9. Changes
This statement may be updated if the website, the processing or the providers change. The current version is published on this page.
